Oberlin Blogs

Ben Reid ’16

Hey, I’m Ben! I hail from the wonderful town of Belmont, Massachusetts (which, like most of the state, is “right outside Boston”).

I am majoring in economics, with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. As if that isn’t enough, I am also premed and plan to go to medical school after my time at Oberlin. Outside the classroom, I am treasurer of the Jewish Student Union and of the Finance and Investment club, a volunteer at Kendal at Oberlin, and a tasty things maker at Harkness Co-op, which basically means I get to bake yummy desserts for 115 people every week.

You should also know that I am obsessed with my dog (pictured above); her name is Charley. I am similarly obsessed with Oberlin, and I hope you can see that in my posts!
