Dan Redwood ’13

Hi! My name is Dan, and I'm a second year from a town called Bethlehem in upstate New York (not Palestine), outside of Albany. I live in Third World House this year and can usually be found hanging around, if not making food in, Harkness co-op. I'm a student in the college planning on majoring in creative writing and possibly Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies, and really I just enjoy anything that involves words.

A lot of what I've done in Oberlin so far has revolved around sex-positivity; I'm currently one of OSCA's three Sexual Offense Policy Advocates and I also work in the Sexual Information Center--so basically I spend a lot of my time acting as a peer support and informational resource when it comes to issues of sex, sexuality, and sexual health and what resources are available in Oberlin and beyond.

When I'm not working, I love to explore the area surrounding campus to find fields to watch the sky from and trees to climb. I'm also a part of the Trans Advocacy Group, Filipino American Students Association, and sometimes the Oberlin College Feminist Collective.

Most importantly, I love talking with people. Let's share words sometime.
