{ The letters are in the mail! }
That's right, as of yesterday afternoon, we sent away the decision letters that represent the culmination of months of hard work on our end, and that will delight or disappoint almost 6000 high school students on the receiving end.
In my last post, someone requested that I post photos of our exciting "Wave to the Truck" event, and I'm happy to oblige with not just photos, but a video of the entire admissions staff celebrating the transfer of the decision letters from our mailroom to the truck. Extra bonus points to those of you who can spot my fellow admissions bloggers! (Hint: Jesse and Leslie are both wearing blue shirts. And Leslie has some kind of magic wand to make sure that the right number of students decide to enroll.)
This is so awesome. You folks are the coolest -- I'm so glad you won't be stressed anymore. I feel so honored to work with you.

I'm slightly worried, because I live in upstate New York and haven't received one of those decision letters yet. I have confidence that mine indeed was on that truck and will arrive Monday. :)

Hello,
do you have any idea when the admissions office will have a somewhat accurate idea of whether students will be taken off the waitlist this year?

Mariann,
We expect that we will take some students off the waitlist this year, but we won't have any idea of how many until early May (once we find out how many admitted students decide to enroll). We will then make decisions about the waitlist throughout May and June.
