My only other personal care thing I'd add to this list that's less about us being dirty hippies and more about the downright important nature of showers. It's the same kind of strangely satisfying that comes with doing laundry, and it's a small but productive thing (plus it's a moment of single-tasking which means your mind is free to think about things you're figuring out, to come up with good ideas, or to just rest your eyes from reading/computers).o

This is great! I think my focus for today will be trying to single-task/focus on the mental health. It's funny how I know what the best thing is to do sometimes and I just don't do it, ha! In response to Ma'ayan, I always assumed showers felt great because they're warm and self-nurturing and soapy (yay coconut), but it makes so much more sense that the focus on one thing and that's why they're so great -- especially as busy people doing a million things. It's important.

Shower psychology is a real thing! When doing something routine you rarely have to think about what else is going on, so there's time for clarity/focus on other things.
And don't forget, Archimedes's Eureka!! moment happened in — where else? — the bathtub!
