When the cat's away...

This weekend, my RA was away for a conference in New York City, so, naturally, we had crazy parties every night. Even Monday night, when I had a problem set due the next day. We became very adapt at avoiding the other two RA’s in the building.

As you may know, New Moon came out this week, so we now have a poster to commemorate the event hanging in our hall. Edward Cullen has been renamed Nosferatu, but the basic idea is the same. In honor of New Moon’s premiere, Asia House screened Spirited Away, so I watched Twilight instead, in an anti sort of spirit. We did the same thing with the Halloween movie. And we also borrowed my RA’s beanbag chair.

Twilight was the most awkward movie I’ve ever seen. I alternated between yelling about Edward’s creepiness, squirming in discomfort, and yelling about Bella’s idiocy. It was a good time, and completely justified the dance party we had in my RA’s room later.

A whiteboard with many notes scrawled on it.
With careful handwriting analysis, you will notice that all of these message could not possibly have been written by the same person, despite the fact that they are all signed by the same person.

Disclaimer: This is all true, but the truths are perhaps wildly exaggerated. Or I could be the guard who always lies. Either way, the other two RA’s were very good and did their jobs and no one was actually harmed in the making of this blog post.

P.S. Dear RA—None of this actually happened. It’s just like that one time when you had a party in my room when I wasn’t there.
