I love all of your posts! Always! This one in particular says so much in so few words (but of course, each stroke of pen in your drawings speak volumes).

It sounds like you've done what you love for most of your summers, and I hope that continues to be the case! It shouldn't matter if your eight or eighty-two, summers should be fun, whether "fun" means a "productive" internship or job, or spending time relaxing ("huh? What's that?" says Andrea...).

Your stuff is great. Please keep drawing!!

Do I spy A Midsummer's Night Dream reference and a Guardians of the Galaxy reference in your drawings?! I think I do. (I also love the theme you started developing of lowering yourself down into things, going deeper and deeper into life. It's a great use of the longggggg scroll of the blog layout too!)

For me, summers pre-college were a variety of enriching experiences, and summer during college were a time of work. (Summer post-college are a time to focus on big fun projects, which actually feels like a vacation compared to the rest of the year... funny how that works.)

But there's still a lot of pressure to make 'the most" of the summers you have. In answering "What did you do over summer vacation?" you still feel compelled to answer. Thinking bout life and things is a good answer, I think. (Also drawing/being creative. That's also a really good answer.)

You are the best. I adore your work and must ALWAYS be on your mailing list. And when you eventually have some of your work for sale, I will buy it.
