professor of physics and astronomy, is heading a coalition of scientists
that will use the Herschel Space Telescope to look out 25,000 light-years
into the heart of our galaxy.

fellowship from Oberlin’s Creativity
and Leadership Project,
and six months of hard work have led three 2008 graduates to garner
a recent $25,000 grant that has them poised to launch what may soon become
a multi-million dollar company.
Professor of Violin Marilyn McDonald and Professor of Recorder and Baroque Flute Michael Lynn are members of a chamber ensemble that will present a program of music at the inaugural luncheon in honor of Barack Obama.
